1965
Foundation
Walter Henge buys his first silo truck and lays the foundation stone of the company group as a self-driving entrepreneur.
1984
Establishment of HENGE Baustoff
Hans-Walter Henge joins the family business HENGE Baustoff and turns the forwarding and logistics service provider into a supraregional trading company for building materials.
1990
German Reunification
After the German reunification, BSR is founded in Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt (Germany) as the first building materials recycling company of its kind.
1996
Relocation of HENGE Baustoff
Due to growing success, creation of new jobs and expansion of the vehicle fleet, the original headquarters of HENGE Baustoff becomes too small. The company moves to the spacious new company location and group headquarters in Offenbach an der Queich, Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany).
1999
Founding of O+H
Hans-Walter Henge and Jindrich Otipka jointly found the building materials trading and logistics service provider O+H in Prague. The successful business model of HENGE Baustoff is exported to open up new markets.
2006
Takeover of IMEXCO Minerals
With the takeover of IMEXCO Minerals in Saarbrücken, Saarland (Germany), the HENGEGROUP expands into the new business area of industrial minerals for abrasives, blasting and refractory products.
2008
Construction of own warehouses for mineral products
Another milestone in the company's history is reached with the construction of our own warehouses for mineral products and a new administration building at the Group headquarters in Offenbach.
2017
Takeover of KOMINEX Minerals+Processing
KOMINEX Minerals+Processing takes over the business of the traditional mineral processing plant in Ermsleben, Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), adding industrial minerals from its own processing to the Group's existing activities.
2019
Relocation of IMEXCO Minerals
After 30 years in Saarbrücken, Saarland (Germany), IMEXCO Minerals moves to the Group headquarters in Offenbach an der Queich, Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany), to further strengthen the joint company activities.
2022
Takeover of BES Most-CZ
Our activities in the Czech Republic grow. The addition of BES as a subsidiary of O+H enables us to further expand our transportation and trading activities.
2024
Restructuring and new partnerships
After 34 years, the building materials recycling company BSR leaves the group and continues on its path with a new owner, while the freight forwarding company Conti-RSC joins BES as a new co-partner to further expand its activities in building materials logistics.
