History
1965
Foundation
Walter Henge buys his first silo truck and lays the foundation stone of the company group as a self-propelled entrepreneur.
1984
Foundation of HENGE Baustoff
Hans-Walter Henge joins the family business HENGE Baustoff and turns the pure forwarding and logistics service provider into a supra-regional trading company for building materials.
1990
Reunification
After reunification, BSR is founded as the first building materials recycling company of its kind in Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt.
1996
Relocation
Due to growing success, the creation of new jobs and expansion of the vehicle fleet, the original headquarters of HENGE Baustoff becomes too small. The company moves to the spacious new company location and group headquarters in Offenbach an der Queich, Rhineland-Palatinate.
1999
Foundation of O+H
Hans-Walter Henge and Jindrich Otipka jointly found the building materials trade and logistics service provider O+H in Prague. The successful business model of HENGE Baustoff is thus exported to open up new markets.
2006
Acquisition of IMEXCO Minerals
With the takeover of IMEXCO Minerals in Saarbrücken, the HENGEGROUP is expanding into the new business area of industrial minerals for abrasives, blasting abrasives and refractory products.
2008
Construction of own warehouses for mineral products
The construction of our own warehouses for mineral products and a new administration building at the Group headquarters in Offenbach marks another milestone in the company's history.
2017
Acquisition of KOMINEX Minerals+Processing
By taking over the business of the traditional mineral grinding plant in Ermsleben, Saxony-Anhalt, KOMINEX Minerals+Processing is expanding the existing Group activities to include internally produced industrial minerals.
2019
Relocation
After 30 years in Saarbrücken, IMEXCO Minerals is moving to the Group headquarters in Offenbach to further strengthen the joint company activities.
2022
Acquisition BES Most-CZ
Our activities in the Czech Republic are growing. The addition of BES as a subsidiary of O+H enables us to further expand our transport and trading activities.

Evolution
Since its foundation, the HENGEGROUP has developed from a freight forwarding company into a pan-European trading, recycling and logistics service provider, which now also produces its own minerals and building materials and offers diversified services in various areas.
