As different as our mineral products may look, they always have two core properties – great hardness and high heat resistance. Thus, with our industrial minerals, you are well equipped to handle the most diverse grinding and blasting tasks and to manufacture refractory products.

In the search for new products, the focus is always on our customers. Together with our raw material partners, we are always developing new ideas and products to be on the cutting edge for you.

Normal corundum
Semi-precious corundum
High-grade corundum
Pink corundum

Due to its sharp edges and great hardness, normal corundum is characterised by a high abrasive effect. Due to a relatively high proportion of TiO2, normal corundum is tougher and less brittle than most types of corundum.

Pink corundum is closely related to conventional corundum. The addition of chromium oxide in the melt gives this corundum its characteristic colour. Technically, it is characterised by an increased toughness compared to white corundum.

Ruby corundum
Zircon corundum
Monocrystal corundum

Zirconia corundum is the most resistant, toughest type of corundum available. Depending on the individual material type, this corundum has a zirconium oxide content of 25% or 40%. This means that the material is much harder to break than other types of corundum and therefore has a long service life. This makes it particularly interesting as a component of long-lasting tools.
