From Rubble to building material
As a certified waste management company, BSR is involved in the recycling and resale of building materials and thus makes a decisive contribution to sustainable construction.
Along with German reunification in 1990, the territory of the former GDR was affected by a drastic structural change within a short period of time. In the construction industry, this meant the abandonment of previous building types and comprehensive urban renewal measures. With its range of products and services, BSR makes a decisive contribution to the sustainable development of the region.
Nearly every material can be reused. BSR Baustoff+Recycling GmbH was founded in Dessau-Rosslau (Saxony-Anhalt) in 1990 with the goal of putting this principle into practice.
Embedded in the medium-sized HENGEGROUP, BSR has stood for market and customer proximity for over 30 years. The development of long-term business strategies is an important component of our company’s philosophy. Economic efficiency and ecological sustainability are particular areas of focus.
The manufacture, storage and transport of all BSR recycling products are all subject to strict quality management to ensure high product quality. Our own production controls and outside monitoring by authorised testing institutes ensures adherence to criteria for environmental tolerability and construction physics.
