BSR – building rubble is building material

Because almost every material has a second use, in 1990, the company BSR Baustoff + Recycling GmbH was set up in Dessau (Saxony-Anhalt) to produce high-quality recycled construction materials. It was recognised at an early stage that these secondary raw materials can be used in many areas of the construction industry and therefore spare valuable resources and landfill capacity.

In this way, the idea of the global environment, as postulated at the environmental conference in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, was already taken into account. Economic efficiency and ecological sustainability which are found again in BSR's company philosophy.

The manufacture, storage and transport of all BSR products are subjected to strict quality management to ensure a high product quality. In-house production control and external monitoring by authorised test institutes ensure compliance with the criteria for environmental compatibility and construction physics. All BSR products bear the TL SoB-StB and the RAL quality markings.

The range of BSR's products and services is completed by the sale of natural stone and civil engineering construction materials.
